At the fresh age of 13, his ambitions propelled him into the diamond cutting industry, where he quickly became a renowned figure in his profession. He soon gained respect worldwide for his masterful skill as a diamond cutter.
Fuchs earned a renowned reputation for his creative approach to diamond cutting. His technique rendered the diamonds brighter and more lustrous than ever before. He was also the first to turn to lasers to achieve perfect diamond cutting results.
Fuchs’s expertise in diamond-cutting was sought after by some of the most affluent and renowned people in the world. Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, and Jackie Kennedy were just a few of those that called upon his services.
After retiring in 1968 Fuchs kept himself involved in the diamond industry, offering his expertise until he passed away in 1995. He passed to his eternal rest, leaving behind his beloved wife and two cherished daughters.
